It's hard to believe that summer has been officially over for a week and tomorrow will be the first day of my third year of teaching. I can't believe how fast life flies by. It really seems just like yesterday that I was in high school and then graduating from college. This will be a very important part in my life because if all things work out the way I would like for them, by this time next year I will be in NYC teaching elementary school.
I'm excited about this school year. We got a new TMD teacher which means that my class was split in half. Instead of having 10 students, I now will have 5. I met a teacher the other day that teaches the same type of students that I do and she has 14 students in her class. I count my blessings everyday that I am in a school where the people in charge look out for us special education teachers. I can't wait to see what sort of fun things happen this school year!!! Since I'm now going to be getting up at 5:45 in the mornings, I'm going to have to get used to go to bed early.....SOOO, goodnight blogging world!!!
